The sleepy village of Upper Downham; with its actual location lost in the mists of time has a narrow gauge railway line to the larger town. The small locos and rolling stock ply their trade along this meandering route until it gets to Upper Downham where the line terminates. The meagre facilities at this end of the line seem to be quite adequate to allow the trains to unload and load either goods or passengers and then take these to the larger market towns along the route.
This 7mm Narrow Gauge Railway and all the rolling stock is either scratch built or made from kits.
